Location
Situated in a central location, many of the main attractions Of Rome are within very easy reach. Only a few minutes walk away are the impressive 4th century Basilica of St. John Lateran, and the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Just a short stroll away are the Colosseum, the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II and the remnants of the Rome city wall. The metro is nearby giving you access to other parts of the city.
Travel
Roma Termini, the main railway station, is within easy reach, offering regular services throughout Italy as well as daily international services to Paris, Munich and Basel. Rome also has a metro, bus and tram system. Traffic is limited in the very centre of Rome, so walking may be preferable.
Rome Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport is the main airport, with some flights using Rome Ciampino Airport.
