Location

Freedom Square, in the heart of Tbilisi, is dominated by the Freedom Monument, commonly known as the St George Statue. There are a number of interesting museums nearby, including the Art Museum of Georgia, the Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia and the Rustaveli Museum. The Tbilisi State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet is also close to the apartments. There are a number of fascinating churches in and around the city; the Sameba Cathedral in the city and the Church of Metekhi are prime examples, and the ancient Narikala Fortress overlooks the city.

Travel

Tbilisi central railway station provides services to a range of destinations, including Batumi on the Black Sea Coast and international services to Armenia and Azerbaijan. Tbilisi itself has a modern metro system and regular bus services which make getting around the city easy. Tbilisi International Airport is located 17km (11 miles) outside the city.
