Please Note: These apartments are set across several buildings, the first at 5 Rue de Stockholm and the others a short distance away at Rue Tronson du Coudray, Rue de Provence, rue d'Edimburgh and Boulevard de la Madeleine. Location
The apartments are conveniently located within easy reach of many of the major sights and attractions. The iconic flagship Galeries Lafayette department store, a stunning building with an array of exclusive boutiques and stylish shops, is just a stone's throw away on the nearby Boulevard Haussman. The Place de la Concorde, one of the major squares in the city, is a short walk away and the beautiful Tuileries Gardens is nearby. The world famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées, with a vast selection of French bistros, Parisian cafés, fine restaurants and popular theatres, is close by. Other sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum and Notre Dame are easily accessible via the metro.
Travel
Paris boasts one of the most extensive and reliable subway systems in the world. The Metro is a great way to travel around Paris. A number of metro stations are near to the apartments including Europe, Saint-Lazare and Saint Augustin.
The Gare Saint-Lazare, one of the six large stations in Paris, is just a short walk away and offers services to Normandy, Versailles and a number of other towns and cities. The Gare du Nord, Europe's busiest train station is within easy reach and provides links to Northern France, the Eurostar to London and services to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

I was very worried about the poor reviews I read on-line to begin with. When I tried to email customer services I got radio silence, which only added to my angst. However due to the holiday weekend everywhere else was booked up so we decided to cross our fingers & hope for the best and how glad we were.
It was a shame not to be able to check in until 4pm & to have no where to drop our bags until then. However when we finally checked in apartment was in a FANTASIC location, with a supermarket, cafes, bars & the Metro seconds away. Our apartment was on the top floor & we had a lovely little balcony. The apartment was spotless & airy & bright. Plenty of room for 5 guests.
One small problem is that the water can run out a little later in the day but there was plenty in the morning.
No checkout details were given so I had to call customer service on my mobile as the phone in the apartment had to be set up to allow calls to be made but this wasn't explained before I arrived.
I requested an extended checkout & this was given without hesitation.
Apartments are much more personal than a hotel

We had booked Opera appartments as our friends in the group were also staying there. Our appartment was a 45 minute walk from our friends staying in Opera appartments on Rue de Stokholm. We paid the same price as those staying on Rue de Stokholm but found the quality of our accomodation very poor and theirs was much better.
The shower was not adjustable. The shower head would have come away from the wall if we tried to adjust it.
The hot water was unreliable. If and when it worked it would scald you and then go freezing cold.
The sink leaked.
The sofa bed was reidculously uncomfortable and should be replaced
No one answered our call when we tried to ring to seek help with the hot water.
