Location
The apartments are located right in the heart of the lively Montparnasse district. As the celebrated artists' quarter of the 1920's the area is awash with stylish cafés, theatres, cinemas and restaurants. Shopping centres and boutiques also swamp the area with Le Bon Marché - one of Paris' most famous departments stores and often regarded as the world's first, is within easy reach. Luxembourg gardens, Saint Germain des Prés and the Latin Quarter are all just a few minutes away. The Tour Montparnasse, the tallest skyscraper in France is a short stroll away and offers stunning views over the city. Other popular and famous sights such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées are easily reached by foot or by metro.
Travel
Paris boasts one of the most extensive and reliable subway systems in the world. The Metro is a great way to travel around Paris. The nearest station is Gaîté which is just a few minutes walk away from the apartments.
The Gare du Nord, Europe's busiest train station is within easy reach and provides links to Northern France, the Eurostar to London and services to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
