At Citybase Apartments, we’ve put together a dynamic, experienced team of people who are here to make sure you find exactly the right kind of accommodation to meet your specific business travel needs. And in keeping with our ethos, we all strive to combine a professional approach with that extra personal touch.

Head of Sales and Supplier Management

Professional Approach: The quality of the suppliers we use is integral to the high level of product we deliver. I've worked in global travel supply and management for more than 20 years and I try to bring all that experience to the negotiating table to get the best deals for Citybase customers.

Personal Touch: Football management may not be the most relaxing pursuit at the highest level but I love coaching and have taken my FA qualifications. I currently manage a junior football team in West Sussex. We're not Champions League quality yet but watch this space.
Business Development Manager

Professional Approach: Having worked in the industry for 15 years, I know that the needs of corporate travellers vary massively. I take great job satisfaction from enabling Citybase clients to get the most from their travel budgets and always aim to help them use their money wisely yet effectively.

Personal Touch: I'm an active family man and I like to get out and about whenever I can with my three young children in tow - plus a caravan too, when the weather is good (and sometimes even when it's not...).
Business Development Manager

Professional Approach: My long and varied background in the hotel, business services and apartment accommodation markets means I am able to combine those different strands of experience to pinpoint the requirements of our corporate clients, with the ultimate goal of helping them make informed, cost-effective choices when booking with Citybase.

Personal Touch: Outside of work, I like to relax by spending time with my husband and our three dogs. I love animals and really enjoy helping animal welfare charities as well as volunteering for Pets as Therapy. I also have political ambitions, such as becoming Prime Minister. I like to aim high!
Account Development Manager

Professional Approach: I've worked in the business and travel industry for more than a decade, with roles in event management, conferences and banqueting, plus five years in the serviced apartments sector. Since joining Citybase, I've found that my corporate hospitality experience gives me a great insight into what business travellers are really looking for in their search for accommodation.

Personal Touch: There's no better way to spend the weekend than having friends and family round and cooking up a mouth-watering Sunday lunch for us all to tuck in to. The perfect finale to a great meal is of course somebody else doing the washing up.

Wesley Shelling - Premier Team Manager

Professional Approach: Whatever the product, I believe a company stands or falls by its quality of customer service. That's why my team works hard and creatively to ensure that Citybase clients come away more than satisfied at receiving a timely, first-class experience.

Personal Touch: Leisure time for me is mainly spent entertaining - and being entertained by - my two children, who are both under 18 months old. If there's any spare time (or energy) left after they've gone to bed, I like eating out, seeing friends and playing football.

Personal Touch: My colleagues also know me by another name: Mrs Kipling, as I love baking cakes and I keep them all well fed! When I’m not toiling over a hot oven, I like to get stuck into a good book, and going out and about with my camera too.
