Getting Around
The city is very easy to navigate on foot however, Brisbane boasts one of the best public transport systems in Australia making it quick, easy and cheap to get around.
• Ferry – the CityCat runs frequently from early morning till late evening and the CityFerry zigzag back and forth across the river between North Quay, the Victoria Bridge and Mowbray Park.
• Bus – there are a number of bus services in the city including Express, Rocket and Bullets which operate faster services during rush hour by omitting a number of stops en route. The Loop is a free bus service that circles the city area and runs every 10 minutes on weekdays.
• Train – 10 suburban lines of the Citytrain cover mostly the west, north and east areas of the city. The Airtrain route connects Brisbane Airport with the city centre.
